When you work with data, it is convenient to have frequently referenced datasets and visualizations stored in one place for quick access. For this purpose, you can use bookmarks.
You can add any resource to your bookmarks - dataset, dashboard, presentation, Geo Playground map, gadget, or time-series - from any place on the website - search results, Dataset Viewer, Data Insights, or World Data Atlas.
To bookmark a resource, click a bookmark icon where you see it.
Once you bookmark a resource, you will always have quick access to it in the "Bookmarks" section under Data, Visualizations, or Pages tab.
In your bookmarks section, you can view, filter, export, and remove bookmarks. You can also build a new dashboard or a presentation of selected visualizations, or paste visualizations from bookmarks to your dashboard.
Below are examples of how to bookmark different resources from different places of the website.
You can add any search result to your bookmarks: time series, visualizations, or datasets.
In the Dataset Viewer, you can bookmark both the dataset as a whole and a particular time series from this dataset. When some visualization is shown clicking a bookmark icon will add both a dataset and a visualization to your bookmarks. When you bookmark a table, it is added as time series and can be found in the tab "Data" of the bookmarks.
In Data Insights, you can bookmark both the dashboard as a whole as well as a separate gadget.
In the World Data Atlas, you can bookmark a chart.
