You have two options potentially available to you to track how your registered users are using the Enterprise system.
Knoema offers a proprietary User Analytics Service designed specifically to help our clients monitor the trends that matter most to ensuring maximum, targeted usage of the Knoema Enterprise Subscription. Monitor search queries to determine if you have the data your users need. Evaluate the most popular dashboards to determine areas for deeper investment. Examine what information and resources any individual registered user is interested in to provide targeted support.
Categories of coverage include:
- Total users
- Monthly active users, percent change
- New users, percent change
- Top active users, by name
- Top search queries
- Most popular dashboards, by view and export
- Top datasets, by view, export, and download
Select usage activity is also viewable as a dataset within the Knoema Enterprise dataset viewer and is updated daily. Use the dataset to build dashboards or export data in standard formats.
Note: if you have an open portal that does not require registration, Knoema Analytics will not capture the actions of that user group.
You may also opt to supplement this information with information you can track from your Google Analytics account. Simply insert your Google Analytics ID in the field available at Admin > General and Google Analytics will begin tracking the system usage. You can learn more about Google Analytics here.
